Sanovel is the first firm to be granted a US Patent in the area of pharmaceutical formulation.Sanovel is the only “Pharmaceutical Firm” to receive the first place among all companies and sectors in Turkey in the Intellectual Property Competence award given by the Ministry of Industry.

The Ministry of Industry chose Sanovel as the number one in the field of intellectual property competence amongst all R&D centres, across sectors and amongst all firms in general. *The evaluation by the Ministry took into account the number of patent applications, the rate of actual patents granted and the commercialisation of discoveries.

For many years, Sanovel has been the company within the Pharmaceutical sector in Turkey with the highest number of patent applications.Sanovel was selected as the first in the category of "The Pharmaceutical Company with the Most Patent Applications" within the scope of the R&D Awards at the 8th International Pharmaceutical Chemistry Congress held in 2020 and the 9th International Pharmaceutical Chemistry Congress held in 2021.According to the data of the Turkish Patent Report 2022, in the list where all years and all sectors are consolidated;

Sanovel R&D was selected by the Industry Ministry as the number one R&D centre in the pharmaceuticals sector for the year 2016.
An FDA-Approved Production Facility
Sanovel Pharmaceutical was granted approval by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which is considered the world's largest health authority, after an audit undertaken in September 2018. Following this great success, important steps were taken to permit the export of pharmaceuticals to the United States.
